NOTE: When you click on "Enter Chat Room" below, you will be asked for a valid email address to register. The automatic confirmation email should get back to you very quickly (usually within minutes). However, it seems that some email servers block automatic emails or put them directly into the "junk" folder... so it might be helpful if you add the 60 Plus email address (sixty_plus@sympatico.ca) to your address list/book before you register.

IMPORTANT: If you don't receive the confirmation email within a short while, and you've checked your trash and/or junk folders, write to..... 60 Plus Email ...to have the temporary password sent to you manually Make sure to include the user name you tried to register.

SUGGESTION: When you enter the room, type your greeting in the large white message box (located near the bottom of the screen) and click the "chat" button (located above that box to the left). If there are people in the room to see your greeting, you will need to continue to click the chat button to see their responses or post further messages of your own. If the room appears to be empty, you could take that time to either "scroll back" a few messages to get some idea of the kind of chat you will find there (scroll back button is located also at the top of that box to the right - just put a number in there like 50 and click chat). You could also take that time to explore some of the links posted right up at the top of the screen, including the HELP page that will give you some idea of how the room operates and mentions the times when you're most likely to find chatters there. You might find it helpful.
